The
Manitoba Library Consortium is pleased to announce that negotiations
have been successfully completed to supply a ‘Core
Suite’ of EBSCOhost databases to all publicly funded libraries
in the Province of Manitoba.
The resources contained in these databases will provide
access to information that is needed every day by individual Manitobans
and students of all ages. Access to these databases will be available
from wherever people are in the province; at home, work or school.
The new ‘Core Suite’ includes these five EBSCOhost databases:
- Academic Search Premier (a significant upgrade from Academic Search Elite)
- MasterFILE Premier (a significant upgrade from MasterFILE Elite)
- Canadian Reference Center
- Primary Search
- Middle Search Plus
Search, Find, and Learn -- at no cost to you!
Take this opportunity to evaluate these resources for your school, school division or public library.
Training resources are available for your use as well as webinars for library and/or teaching staff to enhance the use of these top-notch resources.
